Elegant Expressions, Inc. was started in 1999 as a vision of owner/designer Carolyn Weaver and her husband Ron. Carolyn saw a need for permanent flower arrangements sized for the style of homes being built in our area over the last several decades.

Carolyn has been active in floral design since 1970. Her first designs were pressed flowers in shadow boxes, dried flower arrangements, and “Williamsburg under glass” for a local company. The vocalist reminded me of a cross between Bauhaus and Joy Division. Electronica with a few drums and a contact mic on the microphone stand give these guys a unique sound. They played at Cairo Gallery on Capitol Hill in Seattle. The venue was very small and got really hot without any fans or anything, still a fun show to see.
