Flowers

I work in an office, and there is this one girl who always gets the most enormous boquets of flowers "just because". She always makes a big to-do about it making sure everyone sees it and tells them it is from her "boyfriend". Do you think there are SOME girls who actually order the flowers and send to themselves? Me and some of my coworkers have our suspicions.

I want to send my bfriend flowers on valentines day, but he works in air traffic control. Seeing as how this is a federal facility, I’m not sure what the rules are… anyone in ATC out there that can answer this for me?

I am an air traffic controller. It shouldn’t be a problem sending it to the tower as long as you know the address. Keep in mind we love nothing more than the chance to tease each other. He won’t live it down. If you’re still not sure, call the facility and talk to the secretary.

I send her flowers via florist post. we do know each other for about a year time she is my mate. She is single . Any sugestions girls?

Awwwww that’s adorable OK, I’m 14 if this helps. So, are you saying you have had no contact at all? If so, maybe she never got them! Perhaps they have been sent late, etc … It can happen, I suppose. Or maybe, she’s trying hard not to lead you on (if you are very good friends). She may be afraid that it may lead to more than friendship, that’s all she wants, nothing more, maybe you shocked her just a bit. There’s only one way to find out though, contact her! Why the delay? Hop to it! Maybe she’s just flattered, just talk to her, in person, phone call, whatever. She will not think you’re an idiot, but she’ll most likely feel happy, knowing you care. And, no sweat, anything could have happened, but you better contact her.

My fiance is in Iraq and just found out that his step-mother’s father died two weeks ago. Should we send flowers even though it is two weeks later, or will this just cause his step-mother sorrow? If we do send some, what kind should we send?

If you want, you can send the money you would have spent on flowers as a donation to a charity in their name… That might be more appropriate.

For example, when my grandfather died a few years ago, we told people that in lieu of flowers to send the money to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the Hospice that he passed away at.

If his Step-Grandfather died of something specific like Heart Disease or Alzheimer or Cancer, send a donation to a specific charety and then send a card saying that you gave in his name to hopefully make the future better for people that have suffered from that disease or disorder or whatever.

That might work better then flowers… Which die and need to be thrown out…

It was just too tempting. The Weather Channel was in PA doing a live weather report yesterday. How could I resist? My second health challenge thanks to your comments. This one took us past Fox and NBC/Weather Channel, as well as to sporting goods stores and department stores.

My back’s okay after the wifeofnalts piggybackride, but you can send flowers and chocolate anyway. One more health video go!
